This is a service requirement to provide maintenance services of washers and dryers for the Unaccompanied Barracks Housing (UPH) division at Presidio of Monterey, California.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a non-personal services contract to provide maintenance services of washers and dryers. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the services as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for items specified as Government furnished property. Please see the PWS and technical exhibits for specific details. This contract encompasses all functions, tasks, and responsibilities necessary for the maintenance, servicing, repair, removal/replacement, and transportation of government owned inventory consisting of 257 washers and 271 dryers (both electric and gas). During the period of performance, this contract’s inventory may fluctuate by up to 10%. The Contractor shall ensure all machines are hooked up and placed in operable condition, as specified in the PWS Deliverables location and pickup for all items is in accordance with PWS Section 5.0 “Specific Tasks”, Technical Exhibit A –Deliverables Schedule, and Technical Exhibit C-Building Listing and Equipment Location. This solicitation is a "request for quotations (RFQ)." The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811412, with a size standard of $19,000,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be received by the agency before the closing date specified above. System for Award Management (SAM) applies to this procurement. You must be registered in SAM to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation. Information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov. Prospective contractors must be registered in SAM database prior to award. Lack of registration in SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
