The information received will be used within Department of Public Works, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to facilitate the decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the organization. Department of Public Works, Fort Leavenworth, KS is seeking current relevant experience, personnel, and capability to work that includes but is not limited to Fire Alarms: The purpose of the Statement of Work is to outline the requirements for the upgrade of the fire alarm system in Building 392 to bring it up to current code and installation of new fire alarm and mass notification systems include but not limited to system wiring, raceways, pull boxes, terminal cabinets, outlet and mounting boxes, control equipment, initiating devices, notification appliances, supervising station fire alarm transmitters/mass notification transceiver, and other accessories and miscellaneous items required for a complete operational system. The work to be done consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials as well as performing all work in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. All work performed by the Contractor shall result in a complete and functional Alarm System. This acquisition will require a general contractor with experience and expertise capable of managing numerous task orders at the same time, which will require construction scheduling, cost estimating, quality control, and coordination of subcontractors in a wide variety of construction trades. The contract to be awarded under this contract will be for construction in Fort Leavenworth, within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a corresponding Size Standard of $45 million.
