Closing date for this solicitation is extended from August 24, 2021 to September 15, 2021. Amendment 3 is published with the following changes: a. Due Date for Offers is extended until 15 SEP 2021 at 1PM Central Time. b. Window film specification is changed to one way film in grey (see Statement of Objectives in Section C) c. Statement of objectives is amended to state that "The government will not provide consideration for glass breakage. It is the contractor’s responsibility to replace any window glass that is broken during the film removal and installation process." d. FAR 52.237-2 Protection of Government Buildings, Equipment, and Vegetation is included in the solicitation. Amendment 2 is published in response to vendor questions (see attached). Amendment 1 is published to provide clarification to the Statement of Objectives (see attached). A draft version of the SOO with the changes highlighted is also attached. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The scope of this requirement would consist of removing the current window film located on the outside of 81 windows measuring 40 in wide by 50 in high at bldg. 48. The current film is located on the outside of the windows on the 2nd floor of the building. Additionally, some windows have blast film and caulk on the inside of the glass which shall be removed prior to installing the new film. The replacement film shall be installed on the inside of the windows and provide visual obscuration – film must keep people on the outside of the building from seeing classified materials or information used by the building’s occupants. It does not need to obscure the fact that there are people in the building. Film shall be one-way film (that allows the building occupants to see out, but blocks observation from the outside) colored grey. A specific brand is not required, however, FAR 52.225-1 Buy American-Supplies is applicable. See attached solicitation for further details.
