Amendment 1 dated 07/12/2021: a. Soliciation is extended from 13-Jul-2021 at 1PM to 20-Jul-2021 at 1PM b. Maps have been updated to highlight parking and access routes to each area requiring treatment (AAttachment 1) c. Responses to vendor questions have been integrated into Version 2 of the PWS (Attachment 2). d. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Objectives: Treat with herbicide and kill at least 75% of the Bush Honeysuckle (Lonicera spp.) on 58 acres across 4 discontinuous parcels. The 4 areas of herbicide application are marked on the attached maps (Attachment 1) by the Natural Resources Branch. Scope: Contractor shall provide non-personal services of invasive species control for honeysuckle to include cutting and treating stumps with Tordon. The contractor will not have more than 25% of the surface area occupied by green and actively growing bush honeysuckle plants. Effectiveness is measured 20 days after application. See attached solicitation for full details. A site visit will be held on Tuesday, June 29 2021 at 10AM Central time. Access to Fort Leavenworth is restricted and requires planning to ensure arrival on time. Contractors need to process through the Visitor Center to obtain access to the installation.
