The solicitation number is W91QF023Q6026 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337214 with a small business size standard of 1100.00 employees. This requirement is a Small Business Set-Aside and only qualified sellers may submit bids. The contract will be awarded as Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). This contract request is for office furniture, to include individual and shared workspaces (desks, tables, and high-density storage). USAHEC is modernizing its workspaces to enable operational efficiency and to accommodate the evolving nature of our work. Existing furniture is obsolete, old, deteriorating, and fails to promote collaboration or meet operational needs. Fort Drum, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and West Point also utilize contracts to perform similar services at their organizations. This is a new requirement for USAHEC. As the nature of work shifted to a collaboration-focused, digitally-oriented construct, existing fixed tables and high-walled cubicles have proven to be an impediment to operational agility and efficiency. USAHEC seeks modular, customizable office furniture that supports current workflows but is flexible and moveable to accommodate future evolution in the operating environment. The office furniture allows co-location of work teams as part of a broader strategy to eliminate silos across library, archives, procurement, and collection maintenance functional areas.
