The Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT), part of the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative (CBSI), provide technical and maintenance oversight to the Eastern Caribbean Area of Operation (AOR). The Partner Nations (PN) are currently in need of replacement Lower Units for their interceptor size vessels. These vessels operate in level 3 to level 5 sea states and varying river conditions. The PN’s conducts extensive maritime operations enforcing countries maritime laws, with special emphasis on illicit drug trafficking. Other law enforcement duties include enforcement of immigration, customs, fisheries, and wildlife protection laws and on-scene coordinator for maritime search and rescue. This requirement is for a total of 12 units, 2 each as detailed in the Salient Characteristics. *************************************** The Offer Due Date has been extended to 18 August 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
