The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, materials, supervision, and other items for non-personal services necessary to perform media monitoring services as defined in the Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property (GFP) and government furnished services (GFS). The PWS defines specific tasks for a media monitoring service which is a web-based interface. Service shall include providing 15 online subscription accounts with unlimited access. The contractor personnel shall be an expert in the respective industry with extensive, practical knowledge and experience with the company’s web-based interface used to monitor the media. The United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Public Affairs office is required to provide media content analysis. The media content analysis is an assessment of news coverage, the media's agendas and an analysis and prioritization of the potential strategic and operational issues confronting the command. The media content analysis assesses what is being said, by whom, and how it is being presented. In addition, the content analysis can reveal the meaning, tone, and accuracy of messages, how the information was presented, and the cumulative effect of the information about the command. This information is used to assist the SOUTHCOM Commander better understand the strategic context, which is a measurement of success for the command and the United States Army. The work to be performed under this contract will be performed remotely since its subscription based services.
