The Commander of the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) and the Chief of Defense of Brazil, are co-hosting The South American Defense Conference 2019 (SOUTHDEC 19). The event will have the participation of Chiefs of Defense and General Officers from South America, in addition to other foreign and US Government dignitaries. The estimated quantity of this effort is 156 Contracted Lodging Room-Nights and 376 Self-Pay Lodging Room-Nights, Main Conference Room for two (2) Days, Second Conference Room for three (3) days, Third Conference Room for two (2) days, Administrative Room for eight and one half (8.5) days, Press Room for one (1) day, and three (3) Bilateral meeting rooms for two (2) days, 300 Lunch Meals, 120 Dinner Meals, 200 Breakfast Meals, two (2) beverage stations that can accommodate 350 personnel, and 320 AM/PM Coffee Breaks.
