ACC-APG, on behalf of CECOM SAMD, is conducting market research via a sources sought notice to identify potential sources for Aerostat and Tower Equipment/Parts supporting Foreign Military Sales requirements for the Iraq Army Special Missions Team, with requirements associated with the country of Iraq. The items include a broad range of tower and aerostat components and spares—such as modems, power supplies, cables/connectors, batteries, an aerostat balloon, GPS/satellite positioning equipment, structural support cables, motors, imaging sensors, and test/repair tools—plus documented capability to deliver required radio configurations and software. Interested parties are asked to provide company information, relevant past/current experience, ability to act as a single provider or describe subcontracting/teaming structure, and disclosure of current or prior involvement in similar government efforts; Rough Order of Magnitude price and availability information may also be provided. Any resulting contract is anticipated to be unclassified and must comply with Berry Amendment specialty metals restrictions; NAICS 334511 and PSC 5820 apply, and the requirement may be set aside for small businesses or competed full and open with multiple awards possible.
