The United States Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) has a requirement for binoculars to include vector binoculars (day/night) with long range observation, thermal monocular (day/night), and binocular video recorder. The U.S Army Contracting Command (ACC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland intends to release a solicitation on or about December 19, 2024 on SAM.gov. It’s anticipated this requirement will be a competition under NAICS Code 333310 - Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing with a size standard of 1000 employees. Subject requirement will support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) under case AL-B-UBX. The Government intends to award a commercial Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The basis for award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. The official release of solicitation W91CRB-25-R-5008 will be posted on SAM.gov. No additional information regarding this procurement will be available prior to the release of solicitation. Solicitation W91CRB-25-R-5008 will included all associated attachments. No hard copy of this solicitation will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted via SAM.gov. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, shall be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of those responding to solicitation W91CRB-25-R-5008 to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents associated with this solicitation.
