Aviator’s Night Vision Imaging System (ANVIS) Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Solutions
The US Army is conducting an RFI/market research assessment of commercial off-the-shelf, helmet-mounted Aviation Night Vision Imaging System (ANVIS) solutions and seeks industry information plus at least one production sample for Government testing. Respondents should submit white papers (max 10 pages) covering product specifications, compliance with MIL-PRF-A3279454B and MIL-PRF-A3314408 (MX-12607 I2 tube), environmental/EMI performance, I2 tube and optics manufacturers, interchangeability, field maintenance/collimation, available test sets, production capacity/lead time, and approximate unit cost with economies of scale up to 17,000 units. Production samples will be tested for resolution, signal-to-noise ratio, gain, collimation, and EMI per MIL-PRF-A3279454B. Samples must be shipped to PdM Soldier Maneuver Sensors–BiNOD at Ft Belvoir, VA.
