The U.S. Army is conducting market research for radio systems, communications equipment, and associated services supporting Foreign Military Sales, seeking sources that can provide or manufacture L3Harris-compatible FALCON-series HF/VHF/UHF/microwave ground and airborne radios plus tactical SATCOM, P25 public safety radios, accessories, spares, tools, software, and support services. Required systems must be non-developmental and physically, functionally, and technically compatible with currently fielded L3Harris radios, including specified waveforms, encryption, interfaces, environmental standards, and ancillary items. Estimated quantities under a planned IDIQ include more than 16,300 handheld, 10,900 man-packable, 10,900 vehicular, and 5,500 vehicular handheld radio configurations, plus 930 training and 260 field support events over a four-year and six-month period of performance. Services will be performed CONUS and OCONUS and include operations and maintenance, training, installation, engineering, site surveys, and field service support for the listed hardware and software.
