The purpose of this announcement is to notify industry of a planned 100% 8(a) small business set-aside and to allow interested 8(a) vendors the opportunity to review and provide questions and comments to the Government pertaining to the draft RFP. The draft RFP and drawing package are provided as attachments to this notice. In addition to a review of the attached RFP, the Government is requesting information on the following: 1. Time required (in calendar days) to develop and submit a proposal to the Government. 2. After contract award, how long (in calendar days) will it take to deliver the first three brackets to the Government for First Article Review. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY – This RFI is issued solely for informational and planning purposes – it does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized via the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.sam.gov). It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
