The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), awarded a modification to delivery order W91CRB-22-F-5047 under the GTACS II Multiple Award IDIQ contract W15P7T-20-D-0013 to NewSat North America, LLC (NewSat), 1924 South Patrick Drive, Suite 201, Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937-4432, in support of a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case for additional equipment and capabilities for Proactive Technology Refresh of the Jordan Border Security Program (JBSP) Phase 1 Upgrade (Ph1U) Request 2 (R2). This modification is Firm Fixed Price, and issued under the authority of 10 United States Code 3406(c)(3) as implemented in FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C) - the modification must be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order, subject to availability of funds, and provided that the services or supplies herein described have otherwise been authorized for acquisition.
