SOURCES SOUGHT TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION FOR PRODUCTS TEMPLATE INTRODUCTION The Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Division D, on behalf of Communication and Engineering Command Security Assistance Management Directorate (CECOM SAMD), is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support a Foreign Military Sale (FMS) in the purchase of Generator and Environment Control Unit Spares. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. Multiple awards may be made. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions. PROGRAM BACKGROUND The Government is seeking sources to support Singapore with the items below. This equipment/accessories will be supporting the DEG-10 Generator and Environment Control Unit (ECU) for the AN/TPQ-53 Radar (trailer mounted). REQUIRED CAPABILITIES The Government requires sources to support the Singapore with items under in section 1, labeled Equipment. Company must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The intent of this Sources Sought is to assess the state-of-the art of the technology available for Generator and Environment Control Unit Spares products that could be applied to meet this requirement. Section 1. The items should be a non- developmental item to the maximum extent possible. Qualification. The items in section 1 must be qualified and demonstrate compliance to ISO 9001-2008 certified. Proof of qualification should be addressed in the response. Maintenance, Inspection and Repair. The Government desires a system with minimal maintenance and inspection requirements at the organizational level. The system should also be easily repairable for deployed units. ELIGIBILITY The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332994. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 4120. SUBMISSION DETAILS Interested businesses should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than ten 8.5 X 11 inch pages, font no smaller than 10 point) demonstrating ability to provide the products/systems listed in this Technical Description. Documentation should be in bullet format. No phone or email solicitations with regards to the status of the RFP will be accepted prior to its release. Your response to this Sources Sought, including any capabilities statement, shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Salma Khairedin, in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF), via email salma.m.khairedin.civ@mail.mil no later than 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time on 15th October 2019 and reference this synopsis number in subject line of e-mail and on all enclosed documents.
