The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground is posting this pre-solicitation notice to issue draft solicitation W91CRB-20-R-0004 for the Next Generation Integrated Head Protection System (NG IHPS). This announcement is not a request for proposals. Contractors shall not submit proposals in response to this notice. Questions and/or comments may be submitted in accordance with Section A of the draft solicitation. The Government intends to procure this requirement on a full and open basis using the procedures at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 315990 Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing with a size standard of 500 employees. Additionally, interested parties may schedule up to a one hour breakout session with the Product Manager Head Protection team during the upcoming Joint Advanced Planning Brief for Industry (JAPBI). The JAPBI Head Protection presentation is scheduled from 8:00am to 8:30am on November 7, 2019, with individual breakout sessions being scheduled the same day between 10:00am and 4:00pm.
