This requirement is to provide United States Forces-Afghanistan (USFOR-A) with private security service protection. Private Security Companies (PSC) contracted by the U.S. Government (USG) support peace and stability initiatives in areas of armed conflict, post conflict, and comparable situations. Protective security service teams or individuals, known as Guardian Angels (GA), are assigned to Department of Defense (DoD) military and civilian personnel as they execute Train, Advise and Assist (TAA) missions. Effective discipline, training, and oversight of USG contracted PSCs build the confidence of the local population, reduce the risk of civilians and civilian activities becoming military targets, and support the restoration of the rule of law. In order to accommodate this objective, this performance work statement provides a full spectrum of private security functions in support of Train, Advise and Assist operations and missions on Forward Operating Base (FOB) OQAB and elsewhere in the Afghanistan Area of Responsibility at (AOR) Temporary Duty (TDY) locations in support of TAA mission requirements.

The contractor will provide protective security service teams or individuals, known as Guardian Angels (GA), to Department of Defense (DoD) military and civilian personnel as they execute Train, Advise and Assist (TAA) missions in Afghanistan. The place of performance will be at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Oqab and within the Afghanistan Area of Responsibility (AOR) at Temporary Duty (TDY) locations in support of TAA mission requirements. The request for proposal (RFP) will be release on or about 31 May 2020.
