This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. The solicitation number for this request for this request for quotations (RFQ) is W913E520Q0003. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 327390, which has a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) has a requirement for to procure seven (7) Anti-Vehicular Planters. Requirements: • Seven planters which house both the concrete and room for soil to grow plants • Seven forms for the concrete - the forms must fit inside the planters - one per • Seven steel rebar cages which must fit inside the forms - one per • Planters should be round and cylindrical with a 48" minimum diameter • Minimum height is 36" • Minimum weight is 5000 pounds when filled with concrete and rebar. • Must have slots for a forklift to lift it when full • Government will provide, mix, and pour the concrete after delivery. • Government will provide the soil and plants also after delivery Potential vendors shall provide a delivery schedule with their quotes. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA), responsible quote.
