Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Fire Suppression Systems

USACE ERDC CRREL seeks ARFF fire suppression equipment for integration into separately procured vehicles intended for Antarctica. The requirement includes six complete wet/dry fire suppression systems, initial wet (400 gallons/system) and dry (500 pounds/system) agents, one nitrogen gas generator, shipping, installation/integration support, testing, training, engineering coordination, spare parts/tools/manuals, warranty/product support, and contractor travel. Systems must operate in extreme cold down to -40°F, with wet agent storage/use to -40°F, dry agent performance to -60°F, and cold storage to -60°F without damage; no water may be stored or dispersed. Delivery is FOB destination to a TBD CONUS integration contractor facility, with an estimated NTE of $60,000 for shipping and handling and a quoter-provided production/delivery schedule for Government planning. Award is best value with Technical Capability weighted more than Comparable Equipment Experience, and both combined significantly more important than price; only technically acceptable quotations are eligible.
