The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a sole-source contract to Mount Washington Observatory for site access, field support, and data products to support a fiber optic sensor deployment near the summit of Mount Washington, New Hampshire, beginning in 2026. The performance period includes a 12-month base period and three 12-month option periods. The contractor must provide field support, meteorological data products, site access for up to 10 CRREL personnel, and deployment and maintenance support.
