This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W913E524Q0006 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334513 – Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlled Industrial Process Variables, which has a small business standard size of 750 employees. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) at Fort Wainwright, Alaska has a requirement to procure the following Brand Name Campbell Scientific items: fifteen (15) Campbell Scientific TDR Soil Moisture and Temperature Profile Sensors and two (2) Measurement and Control Dataloggers that will be used to expand CRREL’s existing Campbell Scientific Monitoring Network which is vital for ongoing research projects. Requirement: The requested items will be used for CRREL’s existing Campbell Scientific system thus it is vital all new parts are interoperable and interchangeable with CRREL’s equipment, sensors, workflows, codes, and resultant data. No substitute parts will be accepted as other parts will cause extreme incompatibility. The requested items must be Brand Name to Campbell Scientific’s following items: Fifteen (15) TDR Soil Moisture and Temperature Profile Sensors - (p/n SoilVUE10-50-PT-10) Two (2) Measurement and Control Dataloggers - (p/n CR1000X-NA-XT-SW-CC) No substitutions or alternative items. Please reference the attached redacted Brand Name Justification and the Request for Quote (RFQ) W913E524Q0006 for clauses, provisions, and offeror instructions. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers; 1) technical capability of an authorized distributor to provide the requested Brand Name Campbell Scientific supplies, and 2) price.
