This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W913E522Q0004 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is NAICS 811310 –Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance . The size standard is $12.5/M. The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Researach & Engineering Laboratory (CRREL)’s Facilities Management Group has a requirement to conduct preventative maintenance on two (2) industrial medium-temperature chillers (hereafter referred to as MTC#1 and MTC#2) located at 72 Lyme Road, Hanover, NH. Both chillers are manufactured by GEA, Inc. and the relevant maintenance requirements published by GEA for their medium temperature chillers are attached. They are both approaching 5000 hours of operation and (per the manufacturers maintenance schedule) it is now time to check/change the oil and filters, etc. NOTE: The full Performance Work Statement (PWS) is in the attached RFQ. FOB Destination: Hanover, NH 03755. Please reference the attached RFQ for instructions and applicable provisions and clauses. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) responsible offeror. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers ability to meet the required technical specifications and price.
