This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W913E522Q0008 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562991 – Septic Tank and Related Services. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL)’s Engineering Resources Branch in Fairbanks, Alaska has a requirement to procure portable toilet rentals and servicing at the Permafrost Tunnel and Farmer’s Loop Research Site. A base year contract with four (4) option years is being requested. Specifications: The Contractor shall be responsible for providing porta potty rentals and servicing as follows: o Permafrost Tunnel - One (1) heated latrine, on site, year-round (10 April – 09 April) to include no less than biweekly sanitation cleaning and servicing. o Farmer’s Loop Research Site - One (1) heated latrine, on year-round (10 April - 9 April) to include no less than biweekly sanitation cleaning and servicing. Please reference the attached RFQ for instructions and applicable provisions and clauses. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: ability to provide the porta-potty rental and servicing that meets all of the requirements listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and total quoted price. Place of Performance: Permafrost Research Station activities at the Permafrost Tunnel located in Fox, Alaska (approximately 10 miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska) and the Farmer’s Loop Research Site, located just outside of Fairbanks Alaska.
