This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W913E522Q0005 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 – Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, which has a size standard of 1,250 employees. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) has a brand name requirement for sixty-five (65) Freewave Technologies 902-928MHz Spread Spectrum Radios (model number FGR3-CE-U). The Government requires the radios to be compatible with existing Freewave Technologies radios and sensors. As such, it is the only brand capable of meeting the Government’s requirement. Please reference the attached RFQ for instructions and applicable provisions and clauses.
