With the issuance of this combined synopsis/solicitation, The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract for the provision of all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment for the modifications to the Process Glycol piping at the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL), Main Laboratory, 72 Lyme Road, Hanover, NH 03755. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. The solicitation number W913E521Q0031 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 – Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a size standard of $16.5M. In accordance with FAR 36.204(c) the project magnitude is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. Please reference the attached RFQ for the Performance Work Statement (PWS), as well as all applicable provisions and clauses. Award will be made on the basis of lowest evaluated total price for all line items of the quotation schedule. Offeror is advised that only quotes submitted on a firm fixed price basis will be considered, and that quotes submitted on any other than firm fixed price basis will be rejected.
