This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W913E519Q0003 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562910, Remediation Services. The small business size standard is $20.5 million. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) in Hanover, NH has a requirement for the removal and disposal of asbestos materials in accordance with all state and federal regulations. Prospective contractors must be licensed Asbestos Abatement Contractors by the state of New Hampshire. The primary aspect of this project is focused on the removal and disposal of asbestos materials as follows: • The Contractor shall ensure no asbestos fibers remain or otherwise enter other parts of the laboratory; • The Contractor is responsible for all licensing, state notifications and administrative submission required to accomplish all task • The Contractor shall travel to CRREL to remove the following: o 720 square feet of floor tile and mastic in room 43; o 180 square feet of floor tile and mastic in rooms 50 & 51; o 95 square feet of floor tile and mastic in room 57; o 260 square feet of tile and mastic in room 58; o Removal of cinderblock wall: vermiculite filling 506 cinder blocks which are to be treated as asbestos containing material (ACM) in room 58. The wall is 13' x 28' o 1,685 feet of asbestos floor tile and mastic in room 67; o 445 square feet of asbestos floor tile and mastic in room 154; and o 455 square feet of asbestos floor tile and mastic in the cold room complex. This solicitation is issued as a total small business set-aside. Please reference the attached RFQ for the Performance Work Statement (PWS) in Section C, as well as all applicable provisions and clauses. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) responsible quote.
