DirecTV based Cable Headend System Maintenance and Repair
The Ohio National Guard (OHARNG) requires procurement and installation of replacement components for its failing DirecTV-based cable headend system while maintaining the existing DirecTV service contract. The equipment includes four HDMI MPEG2 digital video encoders, sixteen DirecTV H26 receivers, one off-air ATSC-to-QAM modulator, one DirecTV SWM 30 line amp, and two H26 rack shelves, with matching specifications. Installation must integrate these items into the existing headend, replace ZeeVee 2540 modulators with ZeeVee 2840 HD input modulators or equivalent, program new H26 DirecTV HD receivers, replace ATSC antenna modulators, set up off-air channels with the DirecTV lineup, and balance outputs for the building coax distribution network.
