Solicitation: W9133L-20-B-4001 Project Title: TARC Men’s and Women’s Locker Room Renovation Document Type: Pre-solicitation Notice Classification Code Y—Construction of Structures and facilities Set Aside: 100% Total Small Business NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction The National Guard Bureau, Construction Branch intends to issue an Invitation for Bid to award a single firm fixed-price construction contract for the TARC Men’s and Women’s Locker Room Renovation Project located at the Herbert R. Temple Jr., Army National Guard Readiness Center (TARC), in Arlington, VA. The project will involve new floor tiles, drywall work, wall tiles, solid surface walls, new toilet and shower partitions, toilet accessories, electrical lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, ceiling work, replacement of supply and return grills etc. The contract performance period is 180 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states “By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror/Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees.” The tentative date for issuing this solicitation is anticipated in mid/late-June 2020 Construction is anticipated to be initiated in the fall of 2020 Interested offerors must be registered in SAM.
