This amendment addresses an extension of the delivery timeframe for the required equipment based on feedback from interested vendors regarding supply-chain concerns* This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9132T22Q0011 and is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) has a requirement for a skid-mounted, deployable Hydro-Thermal Liquefaction (HTL) system that will be integrated with a Hazardous Algal Bloom (HAB) remediation system being developed by CERL. The overall objective is to create a HAB system capable of physically removing HAB biomass material from the water and converting it to fuel. The HTL components are necessary for functions such as stabilization of HAB biomass, destruction of associated cyanotoxins, and recovery of resources such as biocrude fuel. Please reference the attached RFQ for full detail of the requirement as well as all applicable provisions and clauses.
