The first posting amendment adds a Q&A document attachment based on questions received from interested vendors. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9132T21Q0048 and is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333318, Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. The size standard is 1,000 employees. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) has a requirement to procure a deployable onshore Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) and Dewatering System, to include training and technical support, capable of processing up to 1,500 gallons per minute (gpm). This equipment will support the Hazardous Algal Bloom Interception, Treatment and Transformation Systems (HABITATS) Program in its efforts to develop and demonstrate a scalable capability to remove floating microalgae from large water bodies and develop resource recovery methods that enable efficient management of the resulting concentrated solids.
