This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9132T20Q0067 and is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) has a requirement for an Ultrasonic Inspection System in order to conduct non-destructive inspection (NDI) of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composite laminate and sandwich panel samples for the implementation of FRP composites in navigation structures. This is highly specialized equipment that can measure thickness and bonding strength as well as detect flaws in a wide range of FRP composite material. THIS ACQUISITION IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
