The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering Research and Development Center – Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (ERDC-CERL) in Champaign, IL has a requirement to identify multiple study sites across the boreal plain of Alberta that encompass a variety of forest sub-groups, soil types, and environmental conditions, and collect location, vegetation, and soil data that will be combined with other data collection activities across Alaska and Canada for development of a single model. The major requirements include identifying approximately 96 sampling locations, collecting and recording the applicable data, and compiling it into a final report. The anticipation period of performance duration is about 4 months, beginning in June 2024. ERDC-CERL seeks capability statements from prospective sources that have relevant experience in work of similar nature as described above, including experience with and knowledge of standard scientific soil and vegetation sampling methods, and availability for providing the services within the stated timeframe, This is not a small business set aside, nor is it a request for competitive quotations. Any interested party that believes they can fulfill this requirement should submit a capability statement to be reviewed by the date listed in this notice. All submissions will be considered.
