Construction Services for Maintenance Dredging of Isle au Haut Thoroughfare, Isle au Haut, Maine Federal Navigation Project
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking interest for a maintenance dredging project in Isle au Haut, Maine, with an estimated construction cost between $1 million and $5 million. The work involves mechanically dredging approximately 3,355 cubic yards of compacted sand, gravel, and cobble from a federal navigation channel and placing the material at the designated Flake Island Disposal Site. Construction is anticipated to occur in Fall 2026/Winter 2027, with the on-site work expected to take 1 to 4 weeks, and all dredging must be completed within the allowable window of September 15 to April 1.
