The work involves mechanically dredging approximately 3,355 cubic yards of compacted sand, gravel, and cobbles from a channel, with an estimated construction cost of $1,000,000 to $3,000,000. Performance will occur between Isle au Haut and Kimball Island, Maine, with dredged material placed at the Flake Island Disposal Site. The dredging window is between 15 September 2026 and 1 March 2027, and the solicitation is expected to be available on or about 10 September 2026. Clamshell buckets are prohibited; mechanical excavator-type dredging equipment and scows are required, along with Dredge Quality Management specifications.
