The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Chemical Vegetation Control Services, Franklin Falls Dam and Blackwater Dam, Franklin, New Hampton, Webster, and Salisbury, NH. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, materials, transportation, permits, and equipment necessary to perform chemical vegetation control within the Franklin Falls Dam and the Blackwater Dam flood control project areas. Base Treatment Area No.1 requires herbicide treatment to all woody vegetation less than 3-inch diameter at breast height (DBH) within 10 feet of each side of a woods road/snowmobile trail as shown on Informational Map 1, totaling approximately 5.3 miles in length (12.85 acres). Base Treatment Area No’s. 2 - 5 require herbicide treatment to all non-native invasive plants/shrubs/trees less than 3-inch DBH. The total area that non-native invasive plants/shrubs/trees could be present in for Base Treatment Area No’s. 2 - 5 is approximately 35.4 acres as shown on Informational Maps 2, 3, 4, and 5. Option Treatment Area No’s. 1 and 2 require herbicide treatment to all non-native invasive plants/shrubs/trees less than 3-inch DBH. The total area that non-native invasive plants/shrubs/trees could be present in for Option Treatment Area No’s. 1 and 2 is approximately 87 acres as shown on Informational Maps 5 and 6. Non-native invasive plants/shrubs/trees are to be consider any plant/shrub/tree that is not native and invasive to New Hampshire. The areas to be treated include but are not limited to wooded areas, open fields, and roadway edges, around the Franklin Falls Dam and the Blackwater Dam. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 Million. ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
