The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Mashnee Dike Sand Berm Repairs, Cape Cod Canal, Bourne, MA. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, services, and tools to perform repairs to Mashnee Dike in accordance with this scope. The repair work consists of furnishing and installing 2,000 cubic yards of sand on Mashnee Dike to construct a new sand berm approximately 325 feet long that will adjoin an area of eroded sand dune. The new berm will be 25 feet wide at the top and slope down to the existing beach grade. Dimensions and slopes of the new sand berm are shown on Figures 2 and 3. Work includes removal of the existing deteriorated erosion control fencing and installation of new erosion control fencing. Work includes furnishing and installation of new Cape American Beach Grass plants on the top of the new sand berm. Mashnee Dike is located in Bourne, MA and is part of the Cape Cod Canal Project. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about August 9, 2024. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Contract Opportunities website (www.SAM.gov). This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238910 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
