THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, services, and tools to perform repairs to Mashnee Dike in accordance with this scope. The repair work consists of furnishing and installing 2,000 cubic yards of sand on Mashnee Dike to construct a new sand berm approximately 325 feet long that will adjoin an area of eroded sand dune. The new berm will be 25 feet wide at the top and slope down to the existing beach grade. Dimensions and slopes of the new sand berm are shown on Figures 2 and 3. Work includes removal of the existing deteriorated erosion control fencing and installation of new erosion control fencing. Work includes furnishing and installation of new Cape American Beach Grass plants on the top of the new sand berm. Mashnee Dike is located in Bourne, MA and is part of the Cape Cod Canal Project.
