THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the following reclamation and asphalt installation work: Reclaim approximately twenty-one hundred (2100) square yards of existing asphalt pavement within joint area, access road, and existing parking area. Provide and install approximately twenty-three hundred (2300) square yards of hot mix bituminous concrete pavement on the joint area, access road, and expanded parking area. The joint section between the entrance gate and Vermont Route 30 covers an area of approximately two hundred fifty (250) square yards. The completed road section between the entrance gate and lower secondary gate will measure approximately nine hundred feet (900’) long by sixteen feet (16’) wide. The expanded parking area will include an additional section, measuring fifty-five feet (55’) wide and thirty (30’) feet long, containing a crushed gravel subbase and matching asphalt. The finished parking area will be larger than the existing lot, measuring one hundred twenty (120’) wide and thirty feet (30’) long. The finished surface of the expanded parking area and adjacent road section shall be slightly out-sloped so that runoff is diverted to the west, towards the Nature Area field. Place excess reclaimed material along the shoulders of the road and edges of the parking area to match the finish elevation of the new bituminous concrete pavement and compact.
