The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a Small Business set aside Issue-For-Bid solicitation for the Replacement of the Building 15 Barracks South Wing located at the Natick Soldier System Center, Natick Massachusetts. The project is planned to be issued late May 2024. The period of performance will be approximately 730 days. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. The project involves demolition of the existing Building 15 South Wing Barracks and replacement with a new two-story, 12 room Unaccompanied Enlisted Permanent Party (UEPH) Barracks building. The new South Wing will abut the existing East Wing that was recently renovated in 2023. Additional detailed scope elements include demolition of the existing three-story building, construction of the new two-story barracks building, maintaining operational capability of the adjacent East Wing of Building 15 throughout construction, and extension of utilities from the surrounding area and the East Wing. Please note that this pre-solicitation is a Small Business set aside Issue-For Bid document. This is not a request for proposals at this time; the solicitation requirements and contract documents which will include instructions for submission and the response date will be available on or about late May 2024. Neither telephonic, mailed, nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to view the solicitation offerors must access the System for Award Management website (www.sam.gov). In order to download the solicitation, offerors must access the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (https://piee.eb.mil/).
