THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The contractor shall provide all material, labor and equipment needed to repoint mortar in existing gaps between brick masonry, re-caulk windows, remove efflorescence and then waterproof the brick masonry and concrete base, on four exterior gatehouse walls at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Birch Hill Dam gatehouse. The gatehouse measures approximately 51 feet long by 25 feet wide and 25 feet high. The surface area is estimated to be 3800 square feet. Access to the north, east, and west sides of the gatehouse is difficult, a site visit is highly recommended. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000.
