Includes replacement of timber weir/stop logs. Minor spall and crack repairs at the Intake Tower Concrete repairs at the base of the Access Spillway Bridge Pier where it interfaces with the spillway structure. Works inside the Inlet Weir Box will be considered a Non-Permit Required Confined Space.. Time of Year Restriction: Works inside the Inlet Weir Box will be conducted during low water season between June 15th through September 30th, 2024. Temporary Control of Water: Contractor shall not need any temporary control of reservoir water level; however, contractor may still need some type of water control system to keep work areas inside the weir box dry during repair work due to back eddying of water, seepage, or rainwater into the weir box and center conduit. Contractor Staging Area and Access: Contractor staging area is at the grassy area north of the dam. Access to staging area and to all work within the weir box shall be through Clough Park Road through the Clough State Park. Coordination with Other Works: A separate paving replacement contract for the parking lot, Dam Crest Road and access road to the toe of the dam will be occurring at the same time with this concrete repair contract. Coordination with the other Contractor will be required for the Intake Tower and Bridge Pier repair works. Proposed Construction Sequencing: To minimize conflict with the Paving Contract, sequence work inside the weir box to start as close to June 15, 2024 as possible.
