The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Water Supply Line Repairs, Stamford Hurricane Barrier, Stamford, CT. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to identify location of water leak and repair service water supply line at Stamford Hurricane Barrier. Contractor will be responsible for excavation, removing all damaged pipe, and installing new “in-kind” piping; ensuring connection to existing un-damaged piping is functional and secure, and re-asphalting the roadway in accordance with the Statement of Work. The service water supply line is located within the Woodland Cemetery in Stamford, CT which is adjacent to the Stamford Hurricane Barrier within an existing easement. The contractor will coordinate with all applicable agencies, to include Woodland Cemetery, Aquarian Water Services (Area’s Water Provider), and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). All work must meet all applicable industry standards and shall comply with any applicable federal, state, and municipal laws, codes, and regulations. Work shall be performed in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC). This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238910 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
