THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The work of this project involves the demolition and removal of the existing lightning protection system in its entirety and providing a new system for the Gate House in accordance with NFPA 780 criteria. The Contractor shall provide a UL Lightning Protection Inspection Master Label Certificate for the facility indicating compliance with NFPA 780. The work shall include the following at a minimum: - Replace deficient lightning protection fittings and connectors on the Gate House roof with those suitable/listed for the application. Ensure that the existing system, including modifications or additions, are compliant with respect to NFPA 780. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
