THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The primary purpose of this project is to replace the campground electric utility (Eversource) Transformer #2 and government owned distribution equipment in accordance with NFPA 70 and utility standards. New 400-ampere service equipment will be relocated from the existing comfort station to the existing water shed to facilitate demolition & replacement of the existing restroom under a future contract. Secondarily, a transformer which steps the voltage up to 480V within the comfort station utility room, feeds power to the picnic area and amphitheater distribution equipment. The contractor shall provide a new 15kVA, 240V-1Ø primary, 480V, 1Ø secondary encapsulated transformer and 480V, 1Ø, 3W panelboard within the existing registration building. The two existing (2) well pumps on site are intended to be refed via the existing registration building (Well Pump #1) and new water shed (Well Pump #2) services. The existing 120V-1Ø RV pedestal feeders are intended to be fed via the new 400 ampere service. Onsite work for this contract will not be allowed during the recreation season, which starts the third weekend in May and ends after Labor Day weekend. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 Million. ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY OFFEROR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
