THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to Cut and chemically treat stumps of approximately 2.5 acres of vegetation greater than one inch in diameter along the Surry Mountain dam spillway approach, ledge walls, and spillway floor. Woody stems less than one inch in diameter do not require cutting but do require herbicide treatment. Evergreen vegetation shall be cut but does not require herbicide treatment. Remove and dispose of all vegetation debris greater than one inch in diameter at a proper location off site. Safety submittals specific to the method of debris removal (i.e., burning, crane, chipping etc.) will be detailed in the safety section of the solicitation. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $8 Million. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY OFFEROR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
