THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The contractor (Park Attendants) shall perform the daily cleaning and refuse removal services at the Buzzards Bay Recreation Area of the Cape Cod Canal. The recreation area has a comfort station, a picnic shelter, park benches, several trash and recycling receptacles, a large visitor parking lot with over 200 spaces, landscaped areas, and access to the North Canal Service Road. All work will be completed to the satisfaction of the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC). In addition to the primary responsibilities at the recreation area, Park Attendants should anticipate additional cleaning services between Memorial Day and Labor Day resulting from a playground water park located adjacent to the Buzzards Bay Recreation Area owned and operated by the Town of Bourne. The Government intends to award two (2) separate contracts from this one solicitation. The vendor offering the lowest price per day as indicated in the Bid Schedule will be allowed to choose which Park Attendant contract (1 or 2) they will be awarded. The second apparent low quoter will be awarded the remaining contract. Park Attendant contract 1 is for site A and Park Attendant contract 2 is for site B. The difference between site A and site B is the Park Attendants work schedule and camp site location. The TPOC shall present both schedules and site locations to the low bidder for selection. IF A QUOTE DOES NOT INCLUDE PRICING FOR BOTH OPTION YEARS IT WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE AND WILL NOT BE EVALUATED. THE DECISION TO EXERCISE THE OPTION YEARS IS SOLELY AT THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 52.217-9 AND FAR PART 17. QUOTES SHOULD NOT BE PROVIDED BY THOSE WHO CANNOT FULFILL THE OPTION PERIODS. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $12 Million. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY OFFEROR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE. The Bid Schedule has been clarified as part of the issued amendment. Interested vendors should fill out only their daily rates where indicated. No changes should be made to the word document to add a quantity of of days for scheduled comfort station cleanings or park attendant services in the Bid Schedule. Quotes will be evaluated by total price with the Government performing the appropriate calculations where required in the Bid Schedule.
