THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to lead abate, prepare, and epoxy coat all concrete floors at the West and East Abutments of the Stamford Hurricane Barrier in Stamford Connecticut including, the West and East Main floors, generator room, west side second floor equipment area, West and East trolley corridors, concrete equipment platforms, bathroom, and furnace room. The Contractor must be qualified to handle and dispose of lead paint in accordance with all federal and state laws and regulations. The work includes the following: Lead abatement of existing painted coating. Mechanical preparation of the concrete substrate in accordance with manufacturer’s preparation recommendations. Application of the epoxy floor coating system in accordance with manufacturer’s application recommendations. The construction range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238390 with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 Million. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
