The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Mashnee Dike Sand Berm Repairs at the Mashnee Dike in Bourne, MA. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, services and tools to perform repairs to Mashnee Dike in accordance with this scope. The repair work consists of furnishing and installing 3,700 cubic yards of sand on Mashnee Dike to construct a new sand berm approximately 300 feet long that will adjoin an area of eroded sand dune. The new berm will be 25 feet wide at the top and slope down to the existing beach grade. Dimensions and slopes of the new sand berm are shown on Figures 2 and 3. Work includes furnishing and installing stone rip rap to repair an existing drainage swale. Work includes removal of existing deteriorated erosion control fencing and installation of new erosion control fencing. Work includes furnishing and installing new Cape American Beach Grass plants on the top of the new sand berm. The construction range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This is not a request for offers at this time. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about August 10, 2020. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Beta.Sam.Gov website (www.beta.sam.gov). This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY OFFEROR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
