The Contractor shall provide an articulated boom type underbridge inspection vehicle equipped with a communication system such as verbal contact can be maintained between the bucket/platform and main control station. A two-man crew shall also be provided to serve as operators of the device. The underbridge inspection vehicle will be used by Corps structural engineers to inspect ten (10) Corps-owned bridges at various sites in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont. A list of bridges and photographs of each bridge is provided. Some of these bridges have a small turning curve at its entrance and narrow bridge decks with a maximum curb-to-curb dimension of 10’-0”. In order to accommodate access to these bridges, the Contractor shall provide an articulated boom type underbridge inspection vehicle capable of meeting these requirements to be used for all inspections. Vehicle must be approved in advance of the start of work. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 532490 with a Small Business Size Standard of $35 Million. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY OFFEROR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
