The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Open Field/Slope Mowing, Thomastn Dam, Northfield Brook Lake, Black Rock Lake, Thomaston, CT. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Provide all labor and equipment to perform open space/slope mowing services of approximately 31 acres in accordance with (IAW) the schedule and specifications listed below. Services are to be provided in accordance with the following scope of work and schedule. Contractor’s work and responsibility shall include, but not be limited to, all job planning, programming, scheduling, administration, inspection, personnel, equipment, vehicles, fuel, materials, supplies, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform the various services required herein. This is not a request for offers at this time. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about April 24,2020. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.beta.SAM.gov). This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $8 Million. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
