THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall furnish and install approx. 650 linear feet of new 8-foot tall commercial grade chain link fence with barbed wire along the eastern edge of the project office compound. Work includes replacement of one cantilevered slide gate for a 20-foot wide vehicle access road and one 5-foot wide pedestrian swing gate. Approx. 575 linear feet of the new fence shall have privacy slats installed in the fence fabric. The new fence will be positioned in the same layout of the existing fence with new posts set in concrete. Maximum post spacing for the new fence is 8 feet. Where the new fence intersects the edge of water in the canal, work includes installation of a new anti-trespass end treatment and new posts installed on the stone rip rap slope. Contractor shall furnish all equipment, tools, materials and labor to provide functional security fencing and gates in accordance with this scope. Work includes demolition, removal and proper disposal or recycling of the existing security fencing, gates and posts. Contractor shall sequence the work and install temporary fencing as needed to always maintain physical security for the project office compound. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238990with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 Million. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY OFFEROR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
